EXAMPLE OF PROPER AND DEMOSTRATIVE ADJECTIVES:
• A proper adjective is formed from a proper noun.
• A demostrative adjective points out the noun it describes.
Proper Adjectives Many adjectives are formed from common nouns. For example, the adjectives rocky and beautiful come from the nouns rock and beauty. Adjectives can also be formed from proper nouns. They are called proper adjectives and are always capitalized.

Demonstrative Adjectives When the words this, that, these, and those come before nouns, they are called demostrative adjectives. Demostrative adjectives modify by pointing out specific persons, places, or things. This and these point out someone or something nearby. That and those point out someone or something located far ther away.
Demonstrative Adjectives
Singular: this finger that planet
Plural: these fingers those planets
Sometimes this, that, these, and those are used alone. Then they are called demostrative pronouns.
This is terrible. Those are worse.
That is wonderful. These are better.
